Upcoming Travel Experiences: Where We’re Going Next

The Venetian Las Vegas

Las Vegas Fall Getaway At The Venetian

We are heading back to Las Vegas for a long fall weekend getaway. This trip will focus less on cramming in every major attraction and more on savoring the city at a comfortable pace, featuring exceptional meals, time spent around the resort, and a few thoughtfully chosen travel experiences that are typical of international trips.

Vegas is a destination that varies significantly depending on where you stay, where you eat, and how you structure your upcoming city breaks. During this visit, we plan to look beyond the usual list of casinos and tourist attractions and emphasize the details that make a short Vegas experience feel more refined and less frantic.

What We Plan to Cover

- Our hotel and room experience

- Restaurants and bars worth visiting

- Resort amenities and overall value

- Tips for vacation planning on a shorter Vegas trip

- Transportation and getting around the Strip

- Whether premium hotel benefits meaningfully enhance the experience

- What we would repeat or change on our next visit

This Las Vegas weekend getaway is a great way to relax after Mediterranean cruises or before embarking on new international trips.

Mediterranean Voyage on Norwegian Viva

In June 2027, The Voyage Haven will sail aboard Norwegian Viva for a nine-night Mediterranean journey from Barcelona to Ravenna, with visits to Cannes, Florence and Pisa, Rome, Salerno, Messina, Corfu, Kotor, and Split.

We’ll be staying in The Haven, giving us the opportunity to review the ship’s premium accommodations, private spaces, dining, service, and overall onboard experience. We’ll also compare Norwegian Viva with our previous sailing aboard Norwegian Prima before finishing the trip with time in Venice.

We’ll share a full review of Norwegian Viva and The Haven, including the suite, private lounge and sundeck, Haven restaurant, service, priority benefits, embarkation, and whether the premium price feels worth it.

We also plan to cover:

  • Norwegian Viva dining, bars, entertainment, and public spaces
  • A direct comparison with our previous Norwegian Prima Haven experience
  • Port guides and excursion advice for the Mediterranean itinerary
  • Pre-cruise planning in Barcelona and post-cruise time in Venice
  • Flights, hotels, transportation, and the overall cost of the trip
  • Practical tips for planning a similar Mediterranean cruise
